SSG season resumes at Jubilee Park We're back!
The senior club has kindly offered us their ground at Jubilee Park until Manson Reserve is able to be used again. They are happy for us to use the main pitch, so we will take up that option. Those of you who registered with the club on registration day (Feb 10) will already be familiar with the ground. The details are: 9:30
- 11:30 am (unchanged) at We will continue to review the conditions at Manson Reserve on a regular basis and will keep you informed of progress. A few things to observe. Parking Please do NOT try to park inside the grounds. There simply is not enough room if everyone attempts to park there, There is plenty of parking next to the ground (towards Wantirna Rd.) and it is a short walk around the fence into the ground. Boots in the clubrooms Please make sure that boots are removed before entering the clubrooms. The Jubilee Park clubrooms are more than just a change rooms. Boots or runners for the sessions It is probably advisable for the children to wear runners. The Jubilee Park ground is softer than Manson, but runners are probably the wiser choice given the weather conditions we have been experiencing of late. Runners will also help you manage the need to enter the club rooms for toilet breaks etc. General safety Jubilee Park has a grandstand area with steps. No doubt some of the more adventurous will want to explore. The grandstand is quite safe but excitable children and steps are not always a good combination. Please ensure that your child is supervised at all times. Signing in & out Please make sure that you sign your child in and collect a colour coded name label before the session starts and sign out again at the end. It helps us (me) enormously both during the sessions and in the planning for future sessions. Registration For those who took away registration forms on April 5, please return the completed ones. For those who are registered with the club but haven't completed the FFA requirements, please make sure that you obtain a NRR03 and complete it. For those who haven't registered yet, please do so as quickly as you can - our time to register your child with the FFA / FFV is coming to a close.
