Special General Meeting creates single Ringwood City Soccer Club

The committee members of the Ringwood City Junior Soccer Club and the Ringwood City (Wilhelmina) Soccer Club believed that the interests of the club would be best served by the junior and senior entities merging to allow the club to go forward as a single entity.

To this end, a Special General Meeting was called to put this proposal to the combined membership and take the first important steps towards a resurgent Ringwood City.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009:

  1. voted to create a single club named Ringwood City Soccer Club to cater for all age groups;

  2. adopted a new constitution; and

  3. elected the following inaugural board members:

Role Board Member
President Colin Munro
Vice President Michael Mounsey
Secretary Matt Winzenreid
Treasurer to be determined
Registrar David Syme
General Board Michael Bacon
  Ben Brown
  Lisa Hood
  Dave Rapson
  Robert Steginga

The new board will meet in the near future to determine the steps needed to progress this merger and start the activities necessary for a successful 2010 season.

This website will be progressively updated to both reflect the new club structure and keep you informed of progress.
