[more] SSG season suspended pending improvements in ground conditions at Manson Reserve. Unfortunately persistent drought conditions have had an adverse impact on the grounds at Manson Reserve and we are obliged to suspend the SSG program until they improve. We were informed by council during the week that the grounds were considered too hard to play on and unsafe for players. We take the safety of the players very seriously and consequently we have little option but to suspend the SSG / Introductory Skills program at Manson until either its condition improves or we have access to a alternate venue. We will be reviewing the conditions regularly and will keep you informed of progress. I understand that most of the children will be disappointed, but unfortunately the situation is largely out of Ringwood City's control. Additional registration requirements for SSG participants It has come to the Junior committee's attention that there are further FFA registration requirements for SSG participants.
